Wall Street English is now looking for an Online Director of Studies to join our International head office in Barcelona.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  1. Schedule management and optimization 
  2. Scheduling and rescheduling classes and management of teacher absences where necessary
  3. Support to our offshore teaching partner in ensuring class delivery and service operations are aligned with the Wall Street English values and methodology 
  4. Promoting the Wall Street English method to our offshore teaching partner, encouraging staff to trust it and use it effectively 
  5. Quality control of teachers including training, observations, focus groups and student interviews 
  6. Ensuring that our offshore teaching partner and Global Online Service team follow Standard Operating Procedure at all times to ensure consistency in terms of our global brand  
  7. Tracking, analysing and reporting on teacher performance and suggesting solutions for improvement areas  
  8. Controlling educational standards by teaching a variety of online class types 
  9. Supporting franchise partners in onboarding and the organization of demo classes 
  10. Driving the creation of and engagement in a global learning community  
  11. Implementation of new products and systems when required 
  12. Identifying key areas of improvement and implementation of the correct changes 
  13. Weekly meetings with offshore teaching company, Global Online Team, and select franchise partners

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor degree
  • Experience in education management, Teacher training and mentoring 
  • Native or near native speaker of English 
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and an ability to influence a wide range of technical and commercially orientated people 


Nice to have:

  • TEFL Certificate
  • Wall Street English experience as an English Language Teacher is a distinct advantage
  • Commercial or sales experience an advantage
  • Strong project management and organization skills. 
  • Experience of working in international markets (APAC, LATAM, EMEA) 
  • Flexibility required in order to meet specific requirements or to attend conference calls.
